Monty’s Plant Food Company Participates in Record Breaking Truck Parade

IMG_20130803_134218_711-SMMonty’s Plant Food Company played a role in setting a Guinness World Record on Saturday, August 3 when we participated in the world’s largest parade of pickup trucks.

The parade took to the track at the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Dan Marley, midwest territory manager, and John Hopson, independent product consultant each drove a Monty’s Plant Food truck in the parade with their families in tow.

A total of 386 pickup trucks of various makes and models met the strict Guinness World Record requirements and were officially added to the record book, surpassing the previous record of just 273, which was set in last year.

Spectators from all 50 states were in attendance, in addition to several international travelers. RFD-TV hosted the parade to launch its new Rural Radio station on SiriusXM channel 80.
