Entretanto, se todas as folhas da planta e todas as plantas do campo apresentarem esse padr\u00e3o, provavelmente n\u00e3o se trata de uma defici\u00eancia de nutrientes, mas de uma caracter\u00edstica do h\u00edbrido.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><u>Conhecer a defici\u00eancia \u00e9 apenas metade do problema - a outra parte \u00e9 saber por que voc\u00ea tem o problema<\/u>. Por exemplo, uma defici\u00eancia de pot\u00e1ssio (K) pode se dever ao baixo teor de K no solo, mas tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 uma defici\u00eancia comum causada pela compacta\u00e7\u00e3o. Se a defici\u00eancia for devida ao baixo teor de K no solo, a adi\u00e7\u00e3o de mais K deve resolver o problema, mas se o problema for devido \u00e0 compacta\u00e7\u00e3o, a adi\u00e7\u00e3o de mais K no solo pode n\u00e3o ajudar. Por exemplo, um padr\u00e3o que parece seguir as marcas de pneus nas \u00e1reas mais \u00famidas de um campo seria uma forte indica\u00e7\u00e3o de um problema de compacta\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><u>Observe a posi\u00e7\u00e3o dos sintomas na planta<\/u>. <u>Alguns nutrientes s\u00e3o m\u00f3veis na planta e, portanto, os sintomas aparecem primeiro nas folhas mais velhas e sobem pela planta \u00e0 medida que a defici\u00eancia se agrava<\/u>. Outros nutrientes s\u00e3o im\u00f3veis na planta e os sintomas aparecer\u00e3o no novo crescimento quando a planta se tornar deficiente.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Dois exemplos em que isso \u00e9 muito \u00fatil para fazer um diagn\u00f3stico correto s\u00e3o o magn\u00e9sio e o zinco, e o N e o enxofre. <u>Tanto o magn\u00e9sio quanto o zinco aparecem como uma faixa nas folhas<\/u>, mas <u>a defici\u00eancia de magn\u00e9sio aparecer\u00e1 nas folhas da parte inferior da planta<\/u>, enquanto <u>O zinco aparecer\u00e1 nas folhas da parte superior da planta<\/u>. Ao usar a an\u00e1lise de plantas para diagnosticar problemas vis\u00edveis de defici\u00eancia de nutrientes, a melhor abordagem \u00e9 coletar amostras comparativas. Com esse m\u00e9todo, duas amostras s\u00e3o coletadas para an\u00e1lise. <u>Uma amostra \u00e9 retirada da \u00e1rea problem\u00e1tica e a segunda amostra \u00e9 retirada de uma \u00e1rea pr\u00f3xima<\/u> que seja o mais pr\u00f3ximo poss\u00edvel da \u00e1rea problem\u00e1tica, mas que esteja apresentando crescimento normal. Esse m\u00e9todo pode ser usado em qualquer est\u00e1gio de crescimento e elimina os efeitos de confus\u00e3o da maioria dos fatores culturais e ambientais.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Ao usar esse m\u00e9todo, as duas amostras devem ser coletadas ao mesmo tempo e a mesma parte da planta deve ser amostrada. Normalmente, as folhas ou os caules mais novos e totalmente desenvolvidos s\u00e3o a melhor parte da planta a ser amostrada para esse m\u00e9todo. Se o problema for nutricional, a compara\u00e7\u00e3o dos n\u00edveis de nutrientes nas duas amostras geralmente fornece uma indica\u00e7\u00e3o direta do problema.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><u>A coleta de amostras de solo para acompanhar essas duas amostras de plantas pode ajudar ainda mais a identificar o problema<\/u>. Se as amostras de plantas mostrarem uma defici\u00eancia de nutrientes na \u00e1rea problem\u00e1tica e o teste de solo mostrar a mesma coisa, fica claro que o solo \u00e9 deficiente e a adi\u00e7\u00e3o desse nutriente deve ajudar.
