Monty\u2019s Plant Food Company is a Louisville, Kentucky-based manufacturer of natural soil enhancement and plant fertility programs designed to maximize crop yields.<\/p>\nMonty\u2019s Plant Food Company is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2016 FFA Scholarships. The company will grant each recipient $1,000 to help fund their continuing education. There were a total of five recipients from throughout the United States:<\/p>\n

\n\u2013 Dustin Speckhart; Quincy, Illinois

Each year, the National FFA Organization awards approximately $2 million in scholarships sponsored by businesses and individuals through the National FFA Foundation. This year, 6,315 students applied, with each being considered for multiple scholarships.<\/p>\n
2016 marks the 32ND<\/sup> year scholarships have been made available by business and industry sponsors and individuals to reward and encourage excellence and enable students to pursue their educational goals.<\/p>\n To be eligible for the Monty\u2019s Plant Food Company scholarship, students had to meet criteria including:<\/p>\n
